This medium roast is a smooth full flavored cup of coffee. The aroma is very nutty and sweet. Full bodied and low acidity – this is a traditional tasting Brazil – thick, creamy, nutty and semi-sweet. This coffee is grown in the Cerrado Region of Brazil. Elevation in the growing region is 3,000-4,000 ft above sea level.

Cerrado is a region in the state of Minas Gerais, which is now the largest coffee-producing state in Brazil. The coffee is grown in rich soil that the natives call "Terra Roxa" or "Red Earth" and other factors such as consistent rains, high daytime temperatures, and dry winters combine to make the Cerrado region an ideal area in Brazil for producing coffee.
Today, Coffee is produced by 4,500 growers. Many of these are family-owned farms who have organized around Cocamar Cooperativa Agronidustrial. Many of these farmers diversify there incomes with the production of other plant produce. The milling facility at COCAMAR is renowned for its strict quality control measures and protection of the environment.
These beans are the Mundo Novo, Yellow Catuai and Red Catuai varieties. The Mundo Novo coffee beans, or "New World" coffee beans, are among the most popular culitvars in the coffee industry, especially in Brazil. The Catuai can be found throughout the americas and thrives at different altitudes. The origin of the name is very peculiar. It Comes from the Tupi-Guarani South American aboriginal language and it means "Very Good".

This will be offered for an extremely limited quantity. Once it sells out, we will select a new region and bean to offer you.
The Cerrado region is also known as the Savanna of Brazil. It is a beautiful region full of amazing wildlife. Historically, it has been overshadowed by the Amazon. However, there has been a push to conserve this amazing space.

We will be selecting a single large bag of green beans to source from a unique location. Everyone has their favorite Wallhouse Coffee roast that they prefer. However, these featured coffees are a great way to try excellent new single origin coffees. Also, be sure to read about the location the beans were grown in our write up.
Once the single quantity of beans are gone, we will select a new location to source beans from; and so on. So be sure to try each origin as they are available before they are gone!
